Package range: $111,798 - $132,585. Package includes salary ($98,499-$116,813 per annum) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. (Salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Pre-Vocational students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Moss Vale Campus. The successful candidate will be required to travel to various campus locations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications in teaching English and at least one Humanities subject and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
  • A qualification at AQF7 (or above) with 2 years full-time study in the relevant subject areas for English and Humanities
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.

Applicants for part-time positions should note that participation in the 14‑week PTL program requires full-time attendance of 35 hours per week throughout the 14 week program.
