$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loadin

About the role

We are seeking outstanding educators to inspire and mentor the next generation of Plant Mechanics students. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Kurri Kurri Campus.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance student learning by delivering hands‑on, practical training. Our teaching section focuses on providing high quality, industry relevant training, delivered to a wide range of learners, including school students and those pursuing post trade qualifications. Share your skills and passion for your industry, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals. 

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

  1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and hold a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
  2. Have a minimum of five years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
