Location: Bankstown campus

Temporary Full Time until 26 April 2027

$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Community Services - Aged Care students!  

Share your skills and passion for your industry, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals. 

Drawing on your nursing qualification and clinical skillset you will deliver high-quality educational programs and facilitate learning in community based Aged Care, enabling students to achieve strong outcomes. You will provide flexible and engaging learning experiences, undertake assessment and evaluation, liaise with nursing home and care facilities, maintain industry and teaching currency, and contribute to a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that reflects best practice in vocational education and training.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

  1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse, gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
