We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Automotive Light Vehicle students! This casual opportunity based at Griffith Campus offers the flexibility to balance teaching with your professional and personal commitments, while continuing to stay connected to current industry practices.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance student learning through hands on, practical training, sharing your real-world experience and helping students develop the skills, qualifications and confidence to succeed in their chosen careers.

There may also be opportunities to deliver training at nearby regional campuses, with travel supported by TAFE NSW.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle or equivalent.  
2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
