Workforce Development Senior Advisor

Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)

Temporary Full Time until June/August 2027

$135,869 – $146,318 salary package - includes base salary ($119,706 - $128,912), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the Roles
We're seeking 2 experienced Workforce Development Senior Advisors to join our teams and contribute to key workforce initiatives that support our people, culture and organisational capability.  While both roles work closely with stakeholders across TAFE NSW and contribute to strategic people outcomes, each role offers a distinct area of focus:

Workforce Development
Positioned within the Workforce Development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering learning and capability solutions that build workforce capability across the organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and external providers, you'll develop engaging learning resources, facilitate training programs and apply instructional design principles to create meaningful learning experiences. You'll enjoy partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges, uncover underlying causes and capability needs and implement sustainable learning solutions.

This role is available temporary full time until August 2027.

Talent Management
Working within the Employee Experience function, you will focus on talent management programs and employee experience initiatives that attract, develop and retain talent. You'll coordinate early careers programs, support employer branding and recruitment marketing activities, manage onboarding experience initiatives, and partner with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver innovative talent solutions. You'll bring a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for creating positive employee experiences across the organisation.

This role is available temporary full time until June 2027.

We are also looking to build a Talent Pool from this recruitment process to fill upcoming permanent and temporary Workforce Development Senior Advisor positions.

About you 
We'd love to hear from professionals who are collaborative, customer-focused and passionate about helping people and organisations succeed. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and experience working in project-based environments.

You'll also bring expertise in one of the following areas of focus:

Workforce Development

• Learning and development, organisational capability or workforce development experience.
• Instructional design and adult learning expertise.
• Experience developing digital learning resources, eLearning and facilitator-led training.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and content development skills.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to analyse capability needs and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Knowledge of learning technologies, SharePoint and learning administration processes.
• Highly desirable experience designing and developing high-quality digital learning solutions using contemporary instructional design, accessibility and inclusive learning practices, learning technologies and content authoring tools.

 Talent Management

• Talent management, employee experience, or workforce initiatives experience.
• Experience coordinating programs and projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Exposure to early careers, employer branding, recruitment marketing or onboarding programs.
• Strong analytical and continuous improvement skills.
• Experience developing frameworks, tools or solutions to improve workforce outcomes across the employee lifecycle.
• Essential experience using PageUp, including administration of employee lifecycle processes, onboarding workflows or related talent programs.
• Highly desirable experience using SAP GUI.
