About the role
As a Space Planner at TAFE NSW, you’ll be pivotal in shaping the physical environments where education happens. Using space planning frameworks, you’ll help design layouts and determine uses of rooms and buildings that are functional, efficient, and tailored to the dynamic needs of modern learning.
Whether arranging furniture in a classroom or relocating students, staff and equipment to a new building, the primary goal is to ensure that the space can be effectively utilised and is tailored to meet the needs of its users. As such, you’ll collaborate with teams across the organisation to understand their needs and plan smart, efficient spaces that support training and service delivery.
Part of the Strategic Asset Management team, your focus will be on improving how we use space within our campuses to deliver exceptional learner outcomes and helping TAFE NSW get the most out of its assets. You’ll lead initiatives to ensure our spaces are fit for purpose now and into the future.
The Space Planner position is based in the Greater Sydney area with some travel to other campuses.
