Permanent Part-Time, 28 hours per week, commencing February 2026

Salary package up to $101,315 per annum - includes base salary ($75,164 - $89,263), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

As a Library Technician at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative library services that empower our students and staff. From supporting digital technologies to maintaining collections and creating engaging library programs, your contributions will help shape the future of education.

About You 

You’re a motivated individual with a passion for connecting people with knowledge. Tech-savvy and customer-focused, you thrive in collaborative environments and are ready to make a difference.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Qualifications: Eligibility for para-professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and an ALIA accredited library and information science qualification - Diploma Library Information Services or equivalent.

Library Expertise: Knowledge of library systems, collections, and cataloguing tasks and the ability to perform acquisition and copy cataloguing tasks and activities.

Tech Savvy: Understanding of library technologies and ability to support changing library technologies.

Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to changing needs in a dynamic environment and willingness to travel as per business requirements
