Salary package up to $156,038.74, includes a base salary range of $124,547 - $137,476 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role 

The Regional Security Manager – Security Operation is responsible for the security operations and security services across the organisation to protect people and assets.

Based in Ultimo, Sydney, the role is required to undertake regular intrastate travel and be contactable for emergency situations afterhours.

About You  

TAFE NSW is seeking a Regional Security Manager – Security Operation with demonstrated expertise in establishing strong stakeholder relationships and providing comprehensive protective security advice, along with the hands on management of security services across large people service and multi-site organisations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in managing security operations and security services across a large multi-site service organisation.  Security services include, external security guard and patrol contract management, risk assessments, incident investigations, procedure creation and implementation.

To be successful in this role you must have the following: 

  • Possess a current NSW Police class 2A security licence.  
  • Certificate IV Security Risk Management or equivalent and / or Professional certification – CPP or PSP
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong stakeholder relationships, provide expert electronic, physical and protective security advice to a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve the required outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing security operations within a large people service organization, with large numbers of employees, across multiple geographical dispersed sites.

Targeted Question 2: Provide an example where you directly manage the security service contracts (guards and patrols) for a large service multi-site organisation.  Outline your management approach to ensure contract service delivery and actions taken where non-compliance / breach of SLA is identified.
