About the role
The Manager Workforce Transition leads the end-to-end delivery of organisational change across TAFE NSW. You will develop and implement workforce transition plans, manage dependencies, maintain data accuracy, and ensure all activities comply with industrial and legislative requirements.
A core part of the role is coordinating and influencing stakeholders across multiple HR functions and business areas including People Business Partners, payroll, recruitment, industrial relations and business leaders to enable timely, well-governed transitions. About You
You bring extensive organisational change and business partnering experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage complex workforce data with accuracy. You work confidently across industrial and employee relations matters, communicate clearly, and guide stakeholders through uncertainty. A supportive people leader, you stay composed, drive continuous improvement, and ensure transitions are delivered with fairness, integrity, and a strong customer focus.
You have a meticulous attention to detail and apply structured problem-solving to ensure workforce transitions are planned, governed and implemented effectively. You build trusted relationships quickly, provide clear and reliable advice, and navigate sensitive matters with discretion.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of data integrity, compliance and process discipline. You collaborate seamlessly across HR functions, proactively identify risks and issues, and contribute to improved ways of working that strengthen TAFE NSW’s overall approach to organisational change.
