3x permanent positions

$205,590 salary package - includes base salary $181,324, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As a Manager Community Engagement, you will be responsible for implementing engagement strategies, programs, and plans to build strong relationships with local communities, industry, and learners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and aspirations to guide decision-making across TAFE NSW.

This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to build trusting relationships with industry and communities, ensuring insights are captured and used to develop strategies that improve local decision-making, service delivery, training solutions, and community engagement.

We have 3 permanent full-time opportunities located in the various community groups below

  • North Coast
  • Eastern City
  • New England North West + Hunter Newcastle

About you 

You are an experienced engagement professional who builds strong, trusting relationships with diverse community, industry and government stakeholders. You bring expertise in developing and delivering local engagement strategies and programs, using insights to guide decision‑making and improve outcomes for learners, communities and industry partners.

You collaborate confidently across different teams and functions to ensure local needs and opportunities are understood and addressed. You communicate with impact, manage competing priorities with ease, and provide clear, evidence‑based advice that supports meaningful and measurable results. You bring professionalism, sound judgement and strong stakeholder awareness to every situation, and you are committed to contributing to positive, inclusive and customer‑focused outcomes.
