Gosford Campus

Temporary, Part-Time 0.5 FTE (17.5 hrs per week)

Base Salary of $72,975 to $86,663 p.a. plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and leave loading, paid pro rata.

About the role

Are you ready to make an impact in education and inspire learning?

As a Library Technician at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative library services that empower our students and staff. From supporting digital technologies to maintaining collections and creating engaging library programs, your contributions will help shape the future of education.

This is a part-time (17.5 hours per week), temporary role until 1 April 2026. The position involves some travel between TAFE NSW Gosford and Ourimbah campuses.

About you 

You’re a dynamic, tech-savvy professional with a passion for customer service and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to make a difference.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Qualifications: Eligibility for para-professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and an ALIA accredited library and information science qualification.
  • Library Expertise: Knowledge of library systems, collections, and cataloguing tasks and the ability to perform acquisition and copy cataloguing tasks and activities.
  • Tech Savvy: Understanding of library technologies and ability to support changing library technologies.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to travel and respond to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
