$230,530 salary package - includes base salary $203,592 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Learning & Teaching, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating strategic priorities, executive initiatives and stakeholder engagement across TAFE NSW. As a trusted adviser and key conduit between the Chief's Office and the broader organisation, you will manage information flows, coordinate responses to emerging issues, and provide high-quality advice to inform executive decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders, government and external stakeholders, you will foster alignment across competing priorities, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to governance, reporting and strategic planning activities that support organisational success.

You will also lead a team of three direct reports, build capability and drive a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Travel across NSW will be required to support strategic meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.

About you 

You are a strategic and outcomes-driven leader with experience operating in complex environments, ideally within government or large-scale public sector organisations. You bring exceptional judgement, political acumen and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and influence senior leaders. Comfortable working in dynamic settings you plan effectively, manage resources within policy frameworks, and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. You are adept at managing competing priorities and delivering high quality outcomes under pressure while maintaining professionalism, discretion and credibility. Your ability to lead through change, navigate complex challenges, and maintain alignment with organisational priorities positions you as a trusted advisor.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within the NSW Public Sector
• Experience supporting executive, ministerial or Chief's Office functions.
• Understanding of the vocational education and training sector.
