About the role

As the Executive Officer to the Chief Student and Community Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Office of the Chief. This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing team that leads strategic initiatives across the Student Support and Community Group (SSCG).

In this dynamic role, you’ll provide high-level executive, secretariat, and project support services, including preparing and managing complex communications, briefings, and reports. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and key liaison, managing sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgement. Your ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues, and influence stakeholders will be critical to supporting the Chief and the SSCG Senior Leadership Team.

You’ll also lead or contribute to strategic and operational projects, monitor progress against plans, and provide high-level advice to inform decision-making. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help optimise administrative systems and practices to support quality outcomes across the Group.

About You

You are a highly organised professional with demonstrated experience in governance, executive support, or related high-level roles within complex or education environments. Your exceptional communication skills, sound judgement, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters position you as a trusted advisor and key liaison across diverse stakeholder groups.

You bring a disciplined approach to administration, with a strong track record of managing competing priorities, preparing high-quality written communications, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role.
