Permanent full-time (35 hours per week)

$92,882 salary package - includes base salary of $82,200, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

Working within the classroom, the role of Education Support Officer is responsible for a range of activities which supports learners and enhances the student learning experience and educative processes. Reporting to the Head Teacher of Floristry, Retail & Logistics you will provide support to a diverse range of students both face to face and connected delivery, ensuring that the student outcomes is at the forefront of your decision making. You are a customer service, outcomes driven team member who is passionate about education and ready to support TAFE NSW students.

Note: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

About You

You will bring with you a passion to make a sustained and meaningful impact on industry and learners when sharing your subject knowledge expertise from industry and an appropriate vocational qualification.  

To be successful in this role you must have: 

  • Appropriate subject knowledge, skills, and vocational qualifications in either; TLI30321 - Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations or hold TLILIC0003 – Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
  • Knowledge of Safe Work assessment regulations and conditions
  • An understanding of knowledge and skills required to obtain a HRWL Safe Work NSW assessment notification process
  • The ability to work within Safe Work Australia regulations / legislation and compliance RTO standards 2025
  • The ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team
  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies
