$111,798 - $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 - $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro rata)

About the Role
As a Counsellor at TAFENSW you will make a meaningful contribution by providing essential counselling services to both prospective and enrolled students, while offering educational consultancy and support to staff. You will use your expertise to guide students in their academic, vocational, and personal journeys, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
You will manage your work with professionalism, ensuring your practice aligns with the standards of your professional body and all relevant TAFE NSW policies and procedures, maintaining accurate and confidential records while staying current with emerging educational, social, psychological and health issues affecting students.
About You
You are a qualified Counsellor, Social Worker or Psychologist who is passionate about supporting students to achieve their educational and career goals. You bring experience in delivering individual counselling and group work across educational, vocational, career and personal matters, and you’re confident using assessments to help identify barriers and guide the best course of action.
