At TAFE NSW, we are dedicated to life-changing impact.

Life-changing impact starts with an incredible team that sees their career as an opportunity to transform someone’s world. Whether that’s inspiring students, supporting each other, or helping our communities and industries flourish.

We invest in our people

At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.

We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and depending on your role, a variety of flexible working options.

About the role

We're seeking dedicated Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) specialists to support learners across the Equity, Foundation Skills and Aboriginal Culture & Languages Faculty by joining our team of LLND Assessors. These assessors will be specifically engaged to conduct SEE (Skills for Education and Employment) pre‑training assessments for our faculty.

As an LLND Assessor, you will play a critical role in assessing learners’ Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills prior to enrolment in SEE programs. These assessments will help ensure that each learner is placed into the most appropriate learning pathway and receives the support they need to build confidence and succeed.

You will report centrally to the Educational Operations team and work closely with experienced Teachers and Head Teachers to undertake independent SEE pre‑training assessments, apply consistent and robust assessment strategies.

This is a highly rewarding and dynamic role within one of NSW’s most significant education providers. Success in this role requires strong capability with digital assessment tools, effective management of online technologies, and culturally responsive, learner‑centred communication to engage students across regional and metropolitan areas.

Note: This role does not teach or deliver training.
