$108,542 - $128,724 salary package - includes base salary ($95,630 - $113,411), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro rata)

The role of the Remedial Massage Teacher and Allied Health Teacher is to deliver high‑quality, industry‑relevant training that equips students with the practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and professional behaviours required to succeed in diverse health settings. This position supports learners in developing competence in remedial massage techniques, anatomy and physiology, client assessment, and treatment planning, while also teaching broader allied health foundations such as assisting in the delivery of Allied Health programs, communication, infection prevention, and person‑centred care. The purpose of the role is to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment where students gain confidence, meet competency standards, and are prepared for real‑world practice in clinics, community health, and multidisciplinary teams.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

  • Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Diploma Remedial Massage and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
  • Be a current Member of an Australian Massage Therapy Association.
  • Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  • Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
