About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Assistant where you will be responsible for class preparation, storing and monitoring supplies and maintaining computing equipment to support teaching staff with the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs.

We currently have a Temporary Full-Time position available at our Mount Druitt Campus in Automotive.

An Eligibility List may be created from this recruitment for all Western Sydney locations.

About You

Bring your passion for the Automotive Industry and strong organisational skills to our team. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively, paired with excellent customer service, will ensure success in this dynamic role.

This role requires the ability to work flexible shifts between 6am – 9pm as per business requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).
  • Certificate III in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Effective communication organisational and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Proven experience in stock control ordering, receipting, storing and issuing equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and operate computer systems and associated software.
  • Experience in the use of relevant tools and equipment used in the industry.

Highly Desirable:

  • Forklift license
  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, in particular Microsoft excel, word and outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience in following WH&S instructions such as using correct PPE and following safe operating procedures.
