About the role

We are seeking outstanding educators to inspire and mentor the next generation of Civil Construction students. This is a casual opportunity based at Macquarie Fields Campus.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, your role is to guide and enhance the learning process. You will be passionate and motivated to share your extensive industry experience, and you will have proven experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment. This is your chance to build the skills, qualifications, and employability of our students, and support their career goals.

About You 

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Hold appropriate subject knowledge, skills and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Civil Construction or Certificate III Civil Construction Plant Operations.
  • Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Provide evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
  • Be prepared to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
