Total Remuneration Package: $110,972 - $119,506. Package includes base salary of $97,771 - $105,290 employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role
The Team Leader of the Aboriginal Student Support Team at TAFE NSW plays a vital role in supporting students and Aboriginal Student Support Officers within the Central West and Far West community groups. You will support students in achieving positive outcomes of success for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students while building effective stakeholder relationships.
We have this rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of students and your communities. Join our Aboriginal Engagement and Student Support team in a leadership role on a Permanent, full-time basis, based in any one of our campuses servicing the Central West and Far West community groups, with travel to other TAFE NSW campuses required.
About You
You will have strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in leading a dynamic Aboriginal team across a large geographical footprint, as well as, building relationships with students and other stakeholders. Bringing your experience and influencing skills you will share your knowledge, consult and collaborate on cultural appropriate strategies. Being resilient and flexible you are comfortable with constructively managing conflict, mediating and you manage issues with sensitivity and confidentiality. Demonstrated skills in providing high level administrative support using software tools such as the Office 365 suite.
