About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of wall and floor tiling students at Tighes Hill!  

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, your role is to guide and enhance the learning process. You will be passionate and motivated to share your extensive industry experience, and you will have proven experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment. This is your chance to build the skills, qualifications, and employability of our students, and support their career goals.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling or equivalent.
2. Hold a current NSW Contractor’s License (Wall & Floor Tiling).
3. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
4. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
5. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
