      $108,542-$128,724 package includes salary ($95,630-$113,411), employer's superannuation and annual leave loading

      About You

      To be successful in the role you will:

      1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of a Diploma in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or Cultural Arts or equivalent and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
      2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
      3. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
      4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
       
      Highly Regarded:
      • Bachelor of Visual Arts (or equivalent qualification).
      • Postgraduate qualification in an arts-related discipline.
      • Previous experience teaching at a higher education level.

      Targeted Question: As a teacher it is important to understand the difficulties and resulting confusion that can occur in learning. What techniques would you use to support a student who was having difficulty understanding the course content you were presenting?
