About the role
We’re seeking passionate educators to join our team as a permanent full-time Teacher – Sustainability and Renewables, based at Tighes Hill Campus. In this role, you will help shape the workforce of tomorrow by delivering practical, industry-focused training in renewable energy technologies and sustainable manufacturing practices.
You will play a vital part in designing and delivering programs that cover clean energy systems such as solar, wind, hydro, and emerging technologies, alongside principles of energy efficiency, sustainability frameworks, and circular economy practices. The role also involves working with advanced facilities, maintaining training equipment, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure training remains current, practical, and aligned with industry standards. You will also engage with employers and community partners to co-design programs that meet the growing demand for skills in sustainability and net zero industries.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
