About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher of Refrigeration to join our dedicated team at Bathurst Campus on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality refrigeration instruction to students, fostering both their technical skills and their understanding of industry standards.

About You

You will have:

1. Possess a minimum of Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent) and a commitment to maintain technical currency. 
2. Hold the appropriate ARC RHL license (Australian Refrigeration Council Refrigerant Handling Licence)
3. Minimum of five years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
4. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
5. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly Regarded (but not essential)

• VET qualification in Electrical Trades
