Location: Griffith

Temporary Part Time until May 2027, 17.5 hours per week

$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading, paid pro-rata.

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Early Childhood Education students! This is a temporary part-time opportunity at our Griffith Campus, with travel required to surrounding areas for work placement assessments. Share your skills and passion for your industry, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals. 

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance student learning by delivering practical, industry‑relevant training across face‑to‑face, virtual and blended environments. Using contemporary digital tools and technologies, you will engage and support a diverse student cohort, fostering motivation, inclusion and professional growth. You will contribute to a collaborative teaching environment and ensure training remains current, responsive and aligned to industry practice.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

  1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher, or equivalent.
  2. Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
