1 x permanent full-time

Package range: $108,057 - $128,149. Package includes salary ($95,630-$113,411 per annum) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. (Salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Chemistry and Biology students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Randwick Campus. The successful candidate will also be required to teach at Ultimo Campus as well as travel to other campus locations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree with at least two (2) years coursework in relevant Higher School Certificate subjects.
  • Minimum three (3) years current and relevant teaching experience to Year 12 (HSC) level in Chemistry and Biology
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course.  Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
