Temporary Part-Time Part-Year (17.5 hours/week) until June 2026

$108,542 - $128,724 package includes salary ($95,630 - $113,411), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading pro-rata

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Beauty Therapy educators to join our team and shape the future of hair professionals. In this rewarding role, you’ll have the opportunity to share your industry knowledge, ignite student passion, and help learners develop the skills and qualifications they need to thrive in the workforce.

You’ll play a key role in supporting students’ career aspirations through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. This role includes 17.5 hours of on-site teaching each week, ideally at the Dubbo campus. We’re also open to considering candidates based at the following nearby TAFE NSW campuses Mudgee, Forbes, Bathurst or Lithgow.

About You

To be successful in the role you will:

1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy and a commitment to maintain technical currency. 

2. Have a minimum of three years (full-time) post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

3. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details

4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
