$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the role
Join TAFE NSW as a part-time Baking Teacher (17.5 hours a week) in an innovative hybrid delivery model that combines on-campus teaching with workplace-based apprenticeship support. In this role, you will deliver baking classes on campus while supporting and assessing baking apprentices in their workplaces across a large regional footprint.
You will build strong relationships with employers, provide guidance to apprentices throughout their training journey, and manage the administrative requirements associated with apprenticeship programs.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to help shape the next generation of baking professionals through a mix of classroom teaching, workplace engagement and industry-focused assessment.
Travel is a regular part of the role, including occasional overnight stays, with all travel costs covered. The position aligns with TAFE NSW's commitment to delivering flexible, work-based learning and maintaining strong industry connections.
About You
You are a qualified baking professional with a minimum Certificate III in Baking or both Certificate III in Bread Baking and Certificate III in Cake and Pastry, as well as having recent industry experience that enables you to bring current knowledge and practical expertise into the learning environment.
You are confident using digital systems and technology, have strong communication and relationship-building skills, and enjoy working with both students and employers.
You are organised, adaptable and committed to supporting learners in both classroom and workplace settings. Most importantly, you are willing and able to travel throughout the region to visit and assess apprentices in their workplaces while maintaining the high standards of training, assessment and industry engagement expected of a TAFE NSW teacher.
