That’s why we offer world-class training and education that delivers the skills needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Life-changing impact starts with an incredible team that sees their career as an opportunity to transform someone’s world. Whether that’s inspiring students, supporting each other, or helping our communities and industries flourish.

We live by TAFE NSW values: Customer Focus, Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence. They define who we are, how we work, and inspire our performance.

We invest in our people

At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.

We provide you with tools, ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and a 35-hour working week with a variety of flexible working options.

The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting business readiness initiatives, problem diagnostics and implementing process changes. In this role, you will consult with business stakeholders to identify business, project, and process requirements; analyse ways of working and business processes across TAFE NSW; and identify gaps to inform the development of improvement strategies that support the strategic and operational objectives of business process owners.

To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in a Senior Analyst role (or similar) and will be solutions oriented, process driven and confident in facilitating workshops online. You will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and maintain strong, healthy relationships with both your internal and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable with and able to work in an environment with changing work priorities.

About You

You love to learn – our team is passionate about continuous improvement and are constantly looking for ways to build breadth and depth of knowledge

You are resilient – working on several diagnostics can be challenging. You’ll need to be able to recover quickly from setbacks and most importantly, learn from failures. You are highly self‑sufficient and conscientious. With our team working remotely across NSW, you can manage your own time effectively, work independently, and build trust by consistently delivering on your commitments.

You closely align with our values – we place learners at the heart of what we do and are focused on providing an inclusive environment and diverse team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated capability to distil complex information and undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform sustainable solutions design at a strategic and operational level.
  • Experience engaging and working with a range of stakeholders on projects, analysis and improvement related activities
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
