      $199,675 package includes base salary $176,043 per annum plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

      About the role

      The Project Manager position is responsible for leading the planning, organisation and control of significant complex projects and sub projects spanning the full continuum of initiation/design and implementation in relation to designated business strategies to meet project objectives, and enable TAFE NSW to achieve its strategic goals, business benefits and outcomes.

      This role will also be responsible for the systems enablement stream of a large complex program that will include ICT infrastructure and supporting system changes. Day-to-day would involve risk/issue management, schedule management, project status reporting, reporting to the project control board, working with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to ensure the execution of work required to meet the project objectives.

      About You

      You have prior experience managing a project through its life cycle to the end. You bring excellent communication skills and able to manage competing priorities and diverse stakeholders needs in an evolving operating environment through collaborative approach. You have strong analytical thinking along with demonstrated project management skills.

      To be successful in this role, you will have:- 

      1. Degree qualification in project management/ related field or equivalent significant experience.
      2. Strong experience in all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation within a complex service delivery environment.
      3. Significant record of achievement delivering complex business projects in the education sector such as enrolment systems, LMS systems or similar, to achieve business or operational related objectives.
      4. Demonstrated high level stakeholder management skills to positively engage and collaborate on project activities.

      Highly Regarded:

      • Successfully delivered end-to-end digital solutions in the education sector, driving improved learning experiences and operational efficiency from project initiation through to closure.
      • Led complex projects involving specialised ICT educational equipment, ensuring seamless integration with core systems (e.g., connectivity and single sign-on) to enhance usability and reliability.
      • Implemented and optimised learning management systems (LMS) or related education ecosystem applications, such as credentialing and enrolment platforms, resulting in streamlined student engagement and administration.
      • Directed IT infrastructure projects, including network design and commissioning, to strengthen system performance and support organisational growth.
      • Applied robust project control practices—risk and issue management, scope governance, financial forecasting, and procurement—delivering projects on time and within budget in a government environment.
      • Achieved recognised professional standards through certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2, ensuring best-practice methodologies and consistent project success.
