About the role

As Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate project activities across the team, ensuring work is delivered in line with agreed priorities and timelines. You will partner closely with the Senior Business Analyst to support Power BI development and the transition of reporting into automated solutions, including the migration of the Scenario Planning Tool. The role spans both strategic planning and operational delivery phases of the budgeting and planning cycle of Educational Delivery for TAFE NSW, requiring you to develop and manage the stakeholder engagement plan, map workflows, and track progress against targets set by Learning and Teaching Directors and senior leadership. You will play a central role in aligning activity across the team, maintaining visibility of deliverables and supporting effective execution across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

About you

You are highly task focused and able to accurately track and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders. You bring advanced skills in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite, and  are confident engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including delivery leaders and senior finance partners. Experience with Power BI, Miro and/or Microsoft Project will be beneficial. You are reliable, detail oriented and take ownership to ensure outcomes are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You are comfortable working with large quantities of data, able to identify discrepancies and support data-informed decision-making.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree qualification in project management/related field OR equivalent significant experience.
  • Strong experience in all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation within a complex service delivery environment
  • Significant record of achievement delivering complex business focused (non-technology based) projects to achieve business or operational related objectives.
  • Demonstrated high level stakeholder management skills to positively engage and collaborate on project activities.

Highly Regarded:

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Excel, Power Automate, PowerBi, Miro and/or, Microsoft Project or similar planning tool.
