Location Negotiable across TAFE NSW Campuses (pending TAFE NSW campus availability)

Full-time Permanent

$191,958 per annum package includes salary of $170,090, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the student experience and create a positive impact for the community through leadership of student engagement programs and services in a vocational education setting. Lead a dynamic, dispersed team to deliver student engagement services and functions to a large customer base with distinct cohort requirements. Programs will span job readiness services, student events and engagement, alumni and scholarships.

Through translating strategic directions into program priorities, this role will continually drive the refinement and transformation of frameworks, approaches and policies to incorporate best practice models, emerging trends and technologies into service provision of student engagement programs.

About You 

You are a dynamic and results-driven leader with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver student engagement programs for a large, dispersed and diverse student base. You thrive when engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for students.

You have demonstrated experience in strategy design and implementation that balances catering to a large-scale student base whilst addressing the unique needs of distinct student cohorts.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  1. A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement).
  2. Degree qualification in a related field or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  3. Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements

Highly Regarded

  1. Experience adopting digital platforms that enhance student engagement
  2. Experience creating and executing a communication strategy to build awareness of student engagement programs.
