Base salary of ($91,272 - $98,291) (pro rata) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
This position is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the Illawarra TAFE Student Association (ITSA) Scholarship program services by administering the scholarship program, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, applying knowledge of regulations, and coordinating informed decision-making.
You will support the ITSA Scholarship Fund Committee by administering a program of scholarships to students in the Illawarra region. The scholarships aim to encourage the development of skills and knowledge that improve educational outcomes and employment opportunities for students. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, proactively identifying issues and working collaboratively on solutions to resolve complex operational problems. You will coordinate and manage the ITSA Scholarship Program while ensuring compliance with requirements of relevant guidelines and/or policies. You will undertake Secretariat responsibilities of managing the ITSA Scholarship Fund Committee, and marketing activities and promotion of the scholarships.
The role has a strong focus on excellence in administration, collaboration and customer-centric approaches to achieve program objectives and uphold TAFE NSW’s values.
About you
You will bring excellent organisation, administration and communication skills. You are highly capable in establishing relationships and networking with a variety of stakeholders at varied levels of seniority. Working independently, you will be a self-starter and results driven team member who can problem solve whilst managing competing priorities. You will enjoy applying your high level of customer service and can-do attitude and will bring enthusiasm and motivation to coordinate the program.
To be successful in this role, you will have:-
Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated experience managing administrative processes with a large governance, compliance and/or confidentiality component.
Highly Regarded: -
Prior demonstrated experience in administration and governance of a scholarship program will be highly regarded.
