Base Salary of $70,168 to $83,330 p.a. pro rata plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and leave loading

About the role

Are you ready to make an impact in education and inspire learning?

As a Library Technician at TAFE NSW, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative library services that empower our students and staff. From supporting digital technologies to maintaining collections and creating engaging library programs, your contributions will help shape the future of education.

This is a part-time (14 hours), temporary role until 16 December 2025. The position involves travel between TAFE NSW Taree and Great Lakes campuses.

About you 

You’re a dynamic, tech-savvy professional with a passion for customer service and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to make a difference.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Qualifications: An accredited library and information science qualification making you eligible for para-professional membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
  • Library Expertise: Knowledge of library systems, collections, and cataloguing tasks and ability to perform acquisition and copy cataloguing tasks and activities.
  • Tech Savvy: Understanding of library technologies and ability to support changing library technologies.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to travel and respond to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
