$89,741 package includes salary ($79,420), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with current industry knowledge and experience in Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC), to join our Orange team as an Education Support Officer (ESO) on a permanent, part time (16 hours / week) basis.  

Working within a team of industry professionals, the ESO is supervised by the Head Teacher and responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhances the student learning experience.

Note: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who has the ability to meet the following Selection Criteria:

  • Diploma of Children’s Services (minimum / equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in the ECEC Industry (two years plus, gained in the last five years)
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining technical currency
  • Ability to understand relevant learning materials and assessment processes
  • Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students.
  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, including MS Office suite (advanced level desirable)
