About the role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with current industry knowledge and experience in Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC), to join our Orange team as an Education Support Officer (ESO) on a permanent, part time (16 hours / week) basis.
Working within a team of industry professionals, the ESO is supervised by the Head Teacher and responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhances the student learning experience.
Note: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who has the ability to meet the following Selection Criteria:
Diploma of Children’s Services (minimum / equivalent)
Demonstrated experience in the ECEC Industry (two years plus, gained in the last five years)
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining technical currency
Ability to understand relevant learning materials and assessment processes
Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students.
Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, including MS Office suite (advanced level desirable)
