Salary package of up to $94,159, includes a base salary of ($70,168 - $83,330) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading (pro rata)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of TAFE NSW Student Services Team! We are looking for a Library Technician to join our team on a permanent part-time basis working 28 hours per week across 4 days per week at our Armidale campus.

The role assists and contributes to the delivery of frontline face to face and online library services to TAFE NSW’s diverse customers and provides guidance and problem solving for customers in digital technologies, platforms, equipment and information resources.

About You 

You’re an enthusiastic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse environment. Passionate about supporting learners and staff, you excel in an innovative educational setting, building strong and trusting relationships, and working collaboratively. You take initiative and can service customers both in-person and virtually.

A suitable applicant will possess:

1. Eligibility for para-professional membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and an ALIA accredited library and information science qualification.
2. Broad knowledge and understanding of library and information services, systems, and procedures.
3. Demonstrated understanding of the technologies relevant to libraries and ability to support changing library technologies.
