Salary package of up to $122,462 includes a base salary of ($95,519 - $108,378) pro-rata plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As a Librarian (Grade 2) at TAFE NSW, you'll lead day-to-day library operations, supervise a dynamic team, and implement innovative library services to support educational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to make a strategic impact by managing projects and enhancing library resources in a collaborative environment.

This role will require occasional travel to other TAFE campuses within the region as directed.

About You 

We are looking for a motivated and skilled library professional who is passionate about enhancing library and information services in an educational environment. If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

  • Qualifications: Eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) with an ALIA-accredited library and information science qualification.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services in a team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Current with emerging library technologies, especially in vocational education.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in supervising, training, and developing team members.
  • Adaptable: Willing and able to travel as needed to support campus services.
