About the role

As a Librarian (Grade 2) you'll lead day-to-day library operations, supervise a dynamic team, and implement innovative library services to support educational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to make a strategic impact by managing projects and enhancing library resources in a collaborative environment.

This is a part-time (14 hours per week), temporary position until 31 March 2027. The position is based between TAFE NSW Grafton and Maclean campuses, and may involve travel to other TAFE NSW campuses depending on business needs.

About you 

We are looking for a motivated and skilled library professional who is passionate about enhancing library and information services in an educational environment. If you meet the following criteria, we want to hear from you:

  • Qualifications: Eligible for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) with an ALIA-accredited library and information science qualification.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services in a team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Current with emerging library technologies, especially in vocational education.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in supervising, training, and developing team members.
  • Adaptable: Willing and able to travel as needed to support campus services.
