About the role

We are looking for an individual with current industry experience and knowledge in Allied Health to join our team as a permanent full-time teacher. This position is primarily based at our Nepean TAFE Campus, with some travel required to Ultimo, Campbelltown and surrounding campuses.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidates in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes. 

About You

You will have:

1. A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in an Allied Health discipline, for example: Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
2.Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
3. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details
4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
