IT Asset Management Specialist

Temporary Full Time until 30th June 2027
$145,605 - $160,719 salary package - includes base salary ($128,284 - $141,600), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring TAFE NSW Digital Solutions hardware and software assets are known, recorded, regularly audited and accessible. Demonstrated capability in data analysis and visualisation to interpret asset and configuration data, identify trends, and present insights through clear, meaningful dashboards and reports that support risk management and informed decision-making. Focussing on asset management, the position is also responsible for maintaining the relationships between the configuration items that make up the services, systems and applications used by the business.
In this role you will manage and maintain the service compliance of all IT and service assets in line with business and regulatory requirements as well as identify, assess and communicate IT asset and configuration associated risks and opportunities in order to proactively troubleshoot and continually improve asset management practices.
About You
You will bring significant experience managing functions and delivering results within a recognised Service Management platform, preferably ServiceNow. You will also have excellent technical, analytical, data analysis, planning, and organisational skills in order to manage an extensive portfolio of assets and configuration items and ensuring compliance with relevant TAFE NSW requirements.
You will have excellent communication skills to provide expert advice on Hardware and Software Asset Management related issues and strategies and will work collaboratively with the team to contribute to achieving the team's business outcomes.
