About the role
As the Injury Management Case Specialist, you’ll provide specialised WHS services, focusing on work-related injury management and workers compensation to ensure proper case management. You'll support injured employees in their return-to-work programs and guideline managers and business partners on managing non-work-related injuries. Utilise your skills to implement initiatives and programs positively impacting both physical and psychological injury elements within the TAFE NSW WHS management system.
About You
Your role is crucial to our team's success in workplace injury management and recovery. You’ll work hands-on with injured workers, line management, medical providers, and internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels are essential. Building professional relationships, negotiating, and influencing internal and external stakeholders are key.
Industry experience, completion of the SIRA Return to Work Coordinator course, and knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 and Workplace Injury Management and Compensation Act 1998 are required.
