About the role

As a General Assistant – Toolstoreperson, you will be responsible for providing a high-level of customer service to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs. This position contributes to the daily operational needs of our trade’s sections by maintaining facilities, coordinating inventory and completing manual handling tasks. You will also ensure you following policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

This position requires you to work flexible shifts between 7.30am and 5.00pm in line with business needs. Some after-hours shifts may be required to cover evening classes; however, this will be discussed should the need arise. We are currently seeking individuals who are interested in working at the following locations:

About You 

You are enthusiastic about sharing your industry knowledge and experience with students and colleagues. You have strong organisational skills and can manage competing tasks effectively. You will have experience working within a trade environment or related work areas, with proven capability in all aspects of purchasing. You’re confident using hand and power tools, operating small machinery and performing tool maintenance. In addition, you can work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
