Total remuneration package: $128,069.45 - $137,919.20, including base salary of $112,834.00 - $121,512.00 employer contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading

About the role
Join TAFE NSW as a Finance Systems Specialist and use your expertise to keep our financial systems running smoothly. You’ll take the lead in resolving complex enquiries, troubleshooting financial systems issues, and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and data. You will also deliver accurate reporting and analysis, support compliance, and drive continuous process improvements through projects, including system enhancements, conducting UAT and strengthening technical processes. Alongside this, you’ll share your knowledge with colleagues, providing training and advice that helps them get the best from our systems.
Location is negotiable across the Sydney Region TAFE NSW campuses with an expectation of regular travel within the Ultimo and Parramatta regions. Please note your preferred campus location is not guaranteed and is subject to campus availability at the time of offer.
About you
You are a finance systems professional with a passion for problem-solving and optimising processes to make systems work smarter. With strong expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and SAP, you excel at investigating issues, analysing data, and delivering accurate, practical solutions. Skilled in project management, user acceptance testing, and system enhancements, you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Known for your clear communication and collaborative approach, you share knowledge, build strong relationships, and work effectively with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes.
Strong proficiency in SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing), SAP Ariba, SAP Concur and Invoice processing automation is highly desirable for this role.
