At TAFE NSW, we are dedicated to life-changing impact.
That’s why we offer world-class training and education that delivers the skills needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
Life-changing impact starts with an incredible team that sees their career as an opportunity to transform someone’s world. Whether that’s inspiring students, supporting each other, or helping our communities and industries flourish.
We live by TAFE NSW values: Customer Focus, Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence. They define who we are, how we work and inspire our performance.
We invest in our people
At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.
We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and depending on your role, a 35 hour working week with a variety of flexible working options.
As a Facilities Officer, you’ll help keep our campuses safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. You’ll look after a range of day-to-day tasks including minor repairs, stock and inventory, security access, emergency response, and working with contractors to make sure jobs are completed to a high standard.
Good organisation, problem-solving, and time management are important in this role.
Experience in facilities or infrastructure management is highly desirable, but if you have the right attitude, transferable skills, and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
About You
You are organised, practical, and have a positive, can-do attitude. You’re confident working with people, building good relationships, and taking initiative to get things done. You’re comfortable using computer systems to keep track of tasks and reporting, and you can balance competing priorities in a busy environment.
It’s an advantage if you have experience in facilities, property, or infrastructure management, but it’s not essential. What matters most is your problem-solving ability, strong people skills, and eagerness to learn.
You’ll also need a current Class C Driver’s Licence and a Forklift Licence (or be willing to obtain them), plus a commitment to ongoing training and keeping your certifications up to date.
