We invest in our people
At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.
We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and depending on your role, a 35 hour working week with a variety of flexible working options.
About The Role
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will lead a team delivering property and facilities services across a cluster of TAFE NSW sites, managing both inhouse staff and contracted providers to ensure high standards of performance, safety, compliance, and customer service. You will allocate work requests, perform minor maintenance, monitor work management systems, and oversee contracted services.
You will build strong relationships with site stakeholders, support planning and scheduling, contribute to regional projects and emergency planning, and ensure team readiness for incidents, always keeping the customer at the centre of all decisions.
About You
You are a strong, practical leader with excellent people skills and the ability to guide a team in delivering high-quality facilities services. You are organised, proactive, and able to balance priorities while working collaboratively with staff and contractors. You will have experience supervising inhouse and/or contracted teams, coordinating work to required standards, and using computer systems for work tracking and reporting.
Experience in facilities, property, or infrastructure management is advantageous, but your ability to lead a team, solve problems, and get things done is what matters most.
You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Class C Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence, have a valid Working with Children Check, be willing to travel across multiple sites in the regional network, with attending our TAFE NSW Griffith site regularly.
