Education Support Officer - Nursing & Health Care Services
Location: St George, Kogarah Campus
Permanent Part Time – 21 hours per week
$96,098 salary package - includes base salary ($84,666), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the Role
We are seeking an Education Support Officer (ESO) to join our Nursing and Health Care Services team at our St George, Kogarah Campus. In this student-focused role, you will work closely with Teachers to support the delivery of high-quality vocational education and enhance the student learning experience.
As an ESO at TAFE NSW, you will provide targeted learning support to help students understand course content, build skills, and stay engaged. You will assist learners across face-to-face, online, and blended environments, supporting their confidence and capability.
A key aspect of this role involves coordinating student clinical placements including collation of student documentation and liaising with hospitals to support placement outcomes.
Occasional travel to Randwick campus will be required for this role.
NOTE: This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training, nor undertake assessment.

You are supportive and proactive with a passion for helping others succeed. With a background in nursing, you can clearly explain concepts to learners from diverse backgrounds.
