Dental Auxiliary Assistant
Location: Ultimo, Randwick and Sydney Dental Hospital
Permanent Part Time Positions (17.5 hours per week)
$80,502 – $88,860 salary package - includes base salary ($70,926 - $78,289), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the role
TAFE NSW is seeking individuals with current experience and industry knowledge in the dental field to join our team as Dental Auxiliary Assistant staff. We currently have two permanent part-time positions available, both based at Ultimo, Randwick and Sydney Dental Hospital. Travel will be required to all locations. Each role requires a commitment of 17.5 hours per week.
The Dental Auxiliary Assistant is responsible for providing support in the preparation of materials and equipment to support educational delivery and ensure the ongoing care and maintenance of equipment, facilities and grounds within the dental teaching section.
About you
We are seeking candidates who hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting with a strong understanding of workplace practices to ensure a safe environment. The ideal applicant will have experience in stock control and store procedures, excellent communication skills to effectively engage with staff and students, and well-developed organisational abilities. You will be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team and be confident in using a range of computer software applications.
