Education Administration Support 

Location: Shellharbour campus

Temporary Part Time until October 2026 – 21 hours per week

$80,502 – $88,860 salary package - includes base salary ($70,926 - $78,289), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the role

This is a temporary part time opportunity based onsite at our Shellharbour Campus within our Nursing faculty, working 21 hours per week across 3 days, the specific working days are flexible and can be agreed upon with the manager.

Supporting the day‑to‑day operation of teaching and learning activities on campus. You’ll work closely with Head Teachers and their team to provide reliable administrative support, helping with class administration, maintaining accurate student and course information in TAFE NSW systems, and coordinating day‑to‑day operational tasks that enable teachers to focus on what they do best.

In this role, you’ll regularly respond to and resolve student enquiries, assist with timetables, resources and general coordination, and liaise with student services, facilities and other support teams as needed. You’ll also help manage information requests, support local activities or events, and contribute to a positive, well‑organised campus experience for both students and staff throughout the semester.

Starting in the Education Administration Support position with TAFE NSW also opens a realm of other opportunities, both within the teaching and education space!

About you 

To succeed in this role, you will be customer-focused with demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment. 

The successful candidate will have: 

  1. Certificate III in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. 
  2. Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support and ability to work with a range of complex administrative and corporate systems. 
  3. Demonstrated experience in developing systems and processes to support efficient operations.
