We provide you with tools and ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, a 38-hour working week with a variety of flexible working options.
About the role
Join us as an Early Childhood Teacher, where you will facilitate and enhance children’s learning and development during their formative years. You will design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs that respond to each child’s individual strengths, interests and needs, contributing to their long-term wellbeing and successful transition to school.
Our Children’s Centre is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and operates 49 weeks of the year. We close for a three-week break over Christmas, ensuring our team is ready for another exciting year of learning.
About You
You are a warm, patient, and innovative educator who brings professionalism, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to children’s wellbeing.
You hold a Bachelor/Degree in Early Childhood Teaching, recognised by ACECQA, with NESA accreditation, and you bring demonstrated experience in early childhood services. You maintain a strong commitment to high‑quality practice informed by the National Quality Framework, the EYLF, Child Safe Standards, and principles of inclusion and social justice.
You demonstrate strong capability in managing complex, fast‑paced environments in which each day presents new demands and challenges. You balance established routines with emergent situations and individual requirements, and you apply sound judgement when navigating competing priorities, where child safety and wellbeing are the paramount considerations in your decision‑making. You have a sound knowledge of, and meet, all reporting and compliance expectations while upholding a steadfast commitment to play‑based, creative, and child‑centred learning.
You cultivate respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a strong sense of belonging. You design culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and communicate with clarity and professionalism while upholding the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and quality.
