About the role
As Director Course Development at TAFE NSW, you will lead the strategic design and development of high-quality education and training courses that meet the evolving needs of students, industry and the community. This senior executive role oversees multiple teams of instructional design specialists and educationally focused managers, driving innovation, accessibility, and excellence across diverse delivery modes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of vocational education by embedding cutting-edge methodologies and emerging technologies into course design, while ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and compliance standards.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the educational landscape at scale, collaborating closely with Faculty, internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver impactful learning experiences. You will champion continuous improvement, foster a high-performance culture, and provide expert leadership that supports TAFE NSW’s mission to skill the workforce of the future. About You
You are an experienced leader with a deep understanding of instructional design and course development at scale. Your background includes extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams to create high-quality student, industry, or community-focused courses that integrate innovative approaches and emerging technologies. You bring a strong track record of delivering impactful educational solutions that are accessible, inclusive and aligned with organisational goals and compliance standards.
